adequate stay with some issues
dirty venetian blinds lacking cleanliness
the breakfast choices was great.
The cleanliness was lacking. There were cobwebs in several corners. the venetian blinds also was dirty. i expected a cleaner room for the price.

Excellent Stay Near Local Attractions
spacious room nice view comfortable bed many sockets
The beautiful double with extra bed was spacious with a nice view. I could see the abbey over the rooftop and the hillside for the Tor (very excellent). The building at the back of the main house was nice and separate. The bed was comfortable, and there were many plug sockets extended to the bedside tables. It was handy having a fridge.
I noticed the venetian blinds in the room had some dust.

Easy parking is available in the gravel courtyard outside. This provides convenient access to the separate building at the back. The location at one end of the main high street is ideal for exploring.
Dining

Breakfast was cooked to order each morning (i appreciated that!). It was served in the conservatory just across the yard at the back of the main house. The menu offered a wide choice to cater to all tastes.
Service
9/10
The service was efficient and pleasant. The staff was accommodating and helpful with directions and suggestions. They looked after every need from arrival to departure, appreciated.
